Kerbside Recycling Service
Click here to request a recycling bin Island Waste Services will provide (free of charge) a kerbside box suitable for the collection of the following items:

  • Newspapers and stapled magazines
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Textiles


This service operates on a fortnightly basis on the same day as your normal refuse.

Please note that your recycling box must be placed at the kerbside by 7am.

PLEASE NOTE
The kerbside box cannot be used for: Cardboard, Junk Mail, Catalogues, glass cookware, sheet glass or drinking glasses.
These items must be placed in with your general refuse.
Your general refuse is taken to the Resource Recovery Facility and processed into fuel. Find out more about the Resource Recovery Facility
